Sights of Tbilisi

Recent years Tbilisi has been rebuilt and many new buildings, cultural or just entertainment centers, new parks have created. There are many beautiful and interesting things to visit and see the sights of the capital of Georgia (country). The number of tourists and foreign visitors are increasing in these years. The tourist’s attractions have become the old Tbilisi district such as Rike, Sololaki, Metekhi, and so on.

While walking through Tbilisi streets, you’ll get a lot of pleasure. People are smiling at you, and you feel warmth and love from them. There are a lot of new shops you can visit and buy the brand clothes, shoes or even wines, some valuable gifts and antique things.

Walking down on Rustaveli Avenue which is one of the central streets in capital of Georgia (country), you can see the monument of Shota Rustaveli, great, popular and well-known Georgian poet, who was lived in 12^th century during King Tamar. Near to this monument there is Mc Donald’s, which has many customers all the time.

On this territory there is one small place, where Georgians are selling their hand made things such as icons, pictures, daggers, hats, and many other beautiful things and gifs.

On the Rustaveli Avenue there are the brand shops of Swarovski, Next, Zara, Benetton. People can enter different cafes,bars or restaurant  and taste delicious Georgian food . 

The parliament of Georgia is also located on Rustaveli Avenue. In front of this building there is Qashueti Church.

Down to Rustaveli Street there is Tavisufleba Square. You can do down to Leselidze street which is one of the old streets. There are many shops where the icons, candles and some gifts are sold. At the end of this street there is one of the main church called Sioni Cathedral. On this territory there is also located the Catholic Church.
